Mornington · Mount Martha · Moorooduc

Feral control Mornington.

The lifestyle blocks between Mornington, Moorooduc and Tuerong sit right against bushland corridors, and foxes and rabbits move freely between them.

Working on blocks close to town

Properties off Bungower Road, Tuerong Road and around the Moorooduc Highway are close enough to houses that most shooters cannot legally work there. We hold a Victoria Police Public Place Permit for exactly this situation, and we notify Mornington police before every session.

Foxes in this area raid poultry runs and take lambs on the smaller hobby farms; rabbits are heaviest on the sandy rises and along the Balcombe Creek corridor.

We also handle deer coming down from the Mount Martha and Devilbend bush onto vineyards and orchards along the Moorooduc plain.

What we control

Five pests. One phone call.

No baits, no poisons, no risk to your dogs or stock. Every animal is identified through a thermal scope before a shot is taken.

Foxes

Night thermal sessions timed around lambing, kidding and poultry losses. Dens located and mapped for follow-up visits.

Spring & autumn peak

Rabbits

Small-calibre work around warrens, dams and vineyard rows. Warren locations logged so you can rip or fumigate later.

Year-round

Deer

Fallow, red and hog deer damaging fences, vines and pasture. Carcasses removed or dressed on site where you want the meat.

Game Licence held

Feral cats

Positive ID only. Collared, ear-tagged or neighbouring pets are never targeted, and we work with the Shire's cat rules.

Bush-edge properties

Rats

Shooting around stables, hay sheds, chook pens and feed rooms where baits are a danger to dogs, horses and owls.

Bait-free

Where we work

The whole Peninsula, no travel charge

From Mount Eliza to Portsea and across to Westernport. Night sessions are usually booked within a week of your assessment, and properties close to townships are handled under our Public Place Permit with local police notified before every job.

How it works

Assessment to follow-up

Site assessment

Free daytime visit. We walk the boundaries, find sign, map safe firing lanes and neighbours, and agree a plan with you.

Paperwork done for you

Landholder authority signed and police notified. You don't chase anything.

Night session

Thermal optics, typically 4 hours from dusk. Every shot taken with a clear backstop and positive identification of the target.

Report & follow-up

A short tally and a map of dens and warrens the next morning, with a recommendation on whether a repeat visit is worth it.
