Rat control
Rat baits kill owls, dogs and the occasional horse on Peninsula properties every year. Air rifle and subsonic .22 shooting clears a shed in an evening with nothing left behind.
Rat control
Horse properties are the main callers: feed rooms, hay sheds and stable blocks draw rats, and owners do not want anticoagulant baits anywhere near their animals or the barn owls that hunt the paddocks.
We shoot with air rifles and subsonic .22 from inside the building, using thermal and infrared to pick rats out of rafters and hay stacks. A two-hour evening visit usually removes the bulk of an infestation; we then advise on grain storage and gaps so they do not return.
This service is also booked by hobby farms with chook runs, and by wineries with barrel sheds where baits are not acceptable near product.

What we control
No baits, no poisons, no risk to your dogs or stock. Every animal is identified through a thermal scope before a shot is taken.
Night thermal sessions timed around lambing, kidding and poultry losses. Dens located and mapped for follow-up visits.
Spring & autumn peakSmall-calibre work around warrens, dams and vineyard rows. Warren locations logged so you can rip or fumigate later.
Year-roundFallow, red and hog deer damaging fences, vines and pasture. Carcasses removed or dressed on site where you want the meat.
Game Licence heldPositive ID only. Collared, ear-tagged or neighbouring pets are never targeted, and we work with the Shire's cat rules.
Bush-edge propertiesShooting around stables, hay sheds, chook pens and feed rooms where baits are a danger to dogs, horses and owls.
Bait-freeWhere we work
From Mount Eliza to Portsea and across to Westernport. Night sessions are usually booked within a week of your assessment, and properties close to townships are handled under our Public Place Permit with local police notified before every job.
How it works
Free daytime visit. We walk the boundaries, find sign, map safe firing lanes and neighbours, and agree a plan with you.
Landholder authority signed and police notified. You don't chase anything.
Thermal optics, typically 4 hours from dusk. Every shot taken with a clear backstop and positive identification of the target.
A short tally and a map of dens and warrens the next morning, with a recommendation on whether a repeat visit is worth it.
Who you're dealing with
One licensed operator, not a franchise. You deal with the person who turns up, and the same person every visit.

Your first night session is free. We want you to see the tally before you pay for anything. Travel anywhere on the Peninsula is included.
One free night per property. Multi-property and council or conservation-group work quoted separately. Payment on completion by bank transfer or card.
